What is the difference between DaaS and DaaS+?
DaaS stands for Device as a Service, while DaaS+ is an enhanced version that offers a completely IT-managed service. With DaaS Lite, you only receive device management services, while DaaS+ goes a step further by providing support and maintenance wrapped into a single monthly service charge. How is DaaS different from leasing hardware?
DaaS is a form of operational leasing, meaning the supplier takes back the devices after the contract term ends. In contrast, leasing hardware is a form of financial leasing, where you become the hardware owner at the end of the contract term. With DAAS, the contract typically includes installation, repairs, maintenance, replacement, and disposal of devices, saving your IT department from these responsibilities. Moreover, DAAS ensures that you always have access to the newest devices for your colleagues. What is the minimum number of devices for DaaS+?
The minimum number of seats for DaaS+ is 20.
What happens if my device stops working?
RND-IT would issue a configured replacement device within an agreed Service Level Agreement, Â all repairs are managed on your behalf.
What happens once the lease has finished?
At the end of your lease, you have several options for your device. Firstly, you can extend your lease to continue using the same device. Alternatively, you can return the device, which RND-IT will inspect, and any necessary repairs will be charged at a fair market rate. Another option is to purchase the device at fair market value or upgrade to a newer model.
How do I cancel a DaaS+ contract.
Cancellation of a DaaS+ contract can be completed by providing notice in writing to RND-IT, we will arrange work with you to transition to either a new supplier or internal IT team to manage. Â

Business Only, we cannot offer leasing to consumers, sole traders or partnership with 3 to less partners.
The prices shown are based on an RND-IT operating lease, VAT registered businesses can reclaim 100% of the VAT paid on the operating lease. Alternative options including; Finance leasing and outright purchase are also available.

Prior to the approval of an RND-IT agreement, we will need to check your credit status. Once approved, we will then supply our agreement for you to sign and return to us. Delivery will be arranged once the final checks are complete and the agreement will commence.
